Alexa Rogers

Public Relations Assistant

Alexa Rogers joined simoneink in June 2017 after graduating from George Mason University. Prior to graduating, Alexa was an intern at Gannett, NBC News and George Mason’s Strategic Communications department. Though her first love was journalism, Alexa’s eyes were opened to the world of public relations on a study abroad trip to London and she hasn’t looked back. Her wide range of experiences helped her create a diverse writing portfolio, as well as develop skills in content editing, social media management, and video editing.

In college, Alexa was an active member of George Mason’s Student Media office. From 2015-2016, Alexa was Editor-in-Chief of the campus newspaper, Fourth Estate, and oversaw the content direction, development for the newspaper’s daily online, and weekly print publications, while supervising editorial staff. She also hosted a weekly show on the campus’ radio station, WGMU. As an American Government minor, Alexa worked with Virginia 21, a non-partisan collegiate organization, to advocate for sexual assault survivors in state higher education legislation.

Alexa is excited to begin her career at simoneink and assist the team as the company continues to grow. When she’s not working, Alexa likes to explore Virginia’s wine trail, practice yoga, and play with her teacup Yorkshire terrier, Madison. Alexa currently resides in Fairfax, Virginia.
